Wood waste as well as forest biomass has a greater application as an alternative fuel source for the heating. To reduce the volume of wood waste and forest biomass, we use the single shaft and slow speed double shaft shredders of DRJ and DRT series, which are resistant to other materials contained in wood waste (nails, hinges, fittings, glass, etc.).

For the processing of wood waste (timber, waste of the manufacturing process of wood processing etc.) in order to obtain small homogeneous output fractions, with the requirement of any magnetic metal separation, we offer slow speed single shaft DRJ shredders.

Technological line which is able to process both waste wood and especially forest biomass is intended for heating plants. The purpose of the line is the separation of oversize fraction and metal pieces, followed by shredding in the slow speed double shaft shredder of DRT series to a relatively small output fraction according to the connected conveying routes and for efficient drying of wood chips in the preparatory drier before the combustion in the boiler.

To choose the appropriate type of shredder it is necessary to know the final size of the output fraction at this stage.
