Processing of plastics

For plastics processing (pressings, sprues, cuttings, production´s waste, PET, PUR, PR, HDPE, ABS, etc.) are mostly designed slow speed shredders or set of a speed shredder and a high- speed knife mill. The waste is pre-shredded in a slow speed shredder and after that shredded to a small output size in a high speed knife mill while the hourly capacity of shredding is sustained. A waste from this knife mill is often transported to a BIG-BAG by using a pneumatic transport. A separator for magnetic metals or detector of nonmagnetic metal separators can be integrated in this transport line.

For processing of unusual shaped materials (e.g. sprues, cuttings, bulky defective products, etc.) it is necessary to use a slow speed single-rotor shredder. This type of shredder can perform easily with these hard-shredding materials thanks to the principle of shredding and constructional realization,

To choose a suitable type of shredder it is important to know the size and shape of shredded material with connection to an hourly capacity of processing and the required output size of fraction.
