Single-shaft shredders

For waste shredding of materials to the small and homogenous output fraction of the size of 8-50 mm are being used Single-shaft shredders of DRJ series. The main advantage of these machines is the ability to process heavy, bulky and tough waste. Another advantage is also the achievement of the desired output size in a single stage of shredding.

DRJ series – these shredders work on the principle of cutting waste material between blades mounted on a rotating rotor and a fixed stator blade of ridge shape. A bulky and shapeless waste is pushed on the rotor by a hydraulic pressing device. This leads to a gradual cutting the layer of crushed material. Under the working space is arranged exchangeable sieve. The size of openings of the sieve defines the size of output fractions. The chosen size of the openings in the sieve also significantly determines the hourly capacity of crushing.

Shredders are not designed for shredding stones, ceramics, iron and other construction waste.
