For the shredding of wood chips and forest biomass to the desired size of the output fraction, we recommend to use slow speed double-shaft shredders of DRT series. The shredder is situated behind the star sorting screen which sorts unwanted materials (stone, clay, etc.) and magnetic separation for removing large pieces of metal. Conveying routes ensure continuous material feeding into the hopper of the shredder which simplify the process of shredding with maximum use of the hourly capacity of the shredder.
Double-shaft shredders of DRT series - the strongest double-shaft shredders with one drive are shredders of DRT series. These shredders are suitable for processing of wood waste and forest biomass large pieces to the desired output fraction, for efficient drying in dryers of wood chips. The robustness, power parameters and reliability of these shredders are represented by the fact that this is our best-selling series. The hourly capacity of DRT shredders is about 1500 - 2500 kg / hour.
