Medium pre-shredding 40-300mm

For gradual shredding of paper waste with output fraction (stripes of width and length of 15-300mm) with request for higher resistance against damage caused by non-shredded material and mainly by lower production of dust are used double shaft shredders of DRN and DRK series. To avoid pushing the paper between cutting segments and thus to overload the machines, it is necessary to equip it by cleaning thumbs to the working area of slow speed and double shaft shredders.

Double-shaft shredders series DRN a DRK- medium power size series of slow speed double-shaft shredders with one drive are used shredders series DRN and DRK. The principle of shredding is the cutting of the materials on the edges of segments with intermediate rings, stacking on the shafts of the shredders. For tack-free, fragile and mechanically easily shredded materials can be used sieve under the working area, for attainment of smaller and homogenous output fraction. In general, the size of the holes in the sieve could not be smaller than width of cutting segments. The hourly capacity of shredders series DRN and DRK is between 500-1500 kg/h.
