Oil filters consist of three basic materials - metal (metal container), plastic or paper (inner liner filter) and residual oils. For processing and subsequent recycling of oil filters from cars and trucks it’s needed to shred the waste filters to the small size. Then the shredded filters are continuously fed into automated centrifuge, which centrifuges residual oil. This oil is then again useable. The next step is metal removing from the centrifuged material by using the magnetic separator. Residual fraction (i.e. skimmed plastic and paper) can be further shredded to the desired output size (e.g. 20x20mm). Then it is used as an alternative fuel for incineration with high heating value thanks to the small amount of residual oil.
In the past our company delivered several lines for the oil filters processing with the customer´s requirement on the location of the line to the particular areas, and considering the logistics of processed waste in the line. Part of our supply is a designed project which specifies the overall layout of lines and ensures the production and purchase of various equipment of the line to the final assembly and commissioning of the technology, including the after-sale service.
