Single-shaft shredders
Single-shaft shredders work on the principle of cutting waste material between blades mounted on a rotating rotor and a fixed stator blade of ridge shape. A bulky and shapeless waste is pushed on the rotor by a hydraulic pressing device. This leads to a gradual cutting the layer of crushed material. Under the working space is arranged exchangeable sieve. The size of openings of the sieve defines the size of output fractions. The chosen size of the openings in the sieve also significantly determines the hourly capacity of shredding. These shredders are used for different materials to the small and homogenous output fraction.
