Four-shaft shredders
Low-speed four-shaft shredders are designed for shredding tough and hard crushable waste, with the requirement to homogenize the output fraction size, which cannot be used in the Single-shaft shredder to avoid its damage during crushing such material (eg. thin-walled metal, etc.). Odes Ltd. is currently the only company in the Czech Republic that manufactures such equipment. This is an extension of the production program with preserving useful properities of shredders.
DRX 870 and DRY 1000, 1250 series
DRX and DRY series – Usefull for shredding waste into homogenous (same size) output fraction. The main advantage of fouf-shaft principle is a combination of features of double-shaft shredders, with efficient use of sieve under the working space and to avoid a blockage of material in the space between moving segments. Due to the segments settlement on the main and auxiliary shafts (their mutual blending), the space between the grinding segments constantly cleans while the waste material is effectively shredded to the desired output size, which is determined by the mesh dimensions of the sieve. When hydraulic pressing device attached and thanks to a wider workspace, a light and bulky waste can also be processed in the shredder.
